Skipp's connection with hip hop goes as far back according to some relatives to his first words.  those being "wild Wild West" the kool moe dee song.  Even if it's not that far back, it can definitely be traced back to wearing his clothes backwards to mimic Kris Kross or even creating his own songs under the rap name Lil B all at the young age of 5 years old.  Although he found love for it at such a young age, it wouldn't be well into his adulthood that he would decide to make an impact on the very culture he loves so dearly.  As someone who listens to a wide range of music, you are sure to here some of those influences throughout Skipp's music.  His musical influences range from the likes of nas, 2pac, Jimi Hendrix, Outkast, Jefferson airplane, amongst others.  Summer of love is skipp's first project.  and he also serves as executive producer on the project.
